We have released a new version of our IXTENT ISDS Connector product – IXTENT ISDS Connector 5.2. This version brings the long-awaited Document Pipeline provider for ISDS integrations against the OpenText world, allowing us to implement upgrades to the new connector version at almost all remaining customers where this was not previously possible. This version also comes with a number of enhancements and fixes that increase the robustness and efficiency of the solution.

Release notes:

  • New Document Pipeline provider has been added.
  • Added support for EV6 and EV8 delivery confirmation types.
  • Added support for validation of outgoing messages and new “Invalid” status. Outgoing messages from all providers are now validated to contain at least one attachment, otherwise the connector will not even attempt to upload them to ISDS and the task associated with such message will be set to “Failed”.
  • ISDS services upgrade to version 2.36.
  • Improved Scheduler logging and configuration loading optimization.
  • The issue where a failed delivery confirmation download could not be restarted correctly has been fixed.
  • Styles in report detail display in the web administration have been fixed.
  • The issue where Scheduler was not logging to the Downloader logs correctly has been fixed. In addition, download and upload actions triggered by Scheduler are now logged to separate files.
  • The issue where a download or upload was attempted while such action was already running has been fixed.
  • The “expect100continue” configuration setting has been added to the default Uploader and Scheduler configuration. This was originally recommended as a temporary fix for unplanned changes in ISDS service behavior.
  • Transformation of SharePoint folder names to secure names without unsupported characters has been added for SharePoint providers. This also fixes the specific problem where a message download failed if the folder name ended with a period.
  • Change of default values in the configuration for SharePoint folders in SharePoint providers where the ‘\’ characters have been replaced with ‘/’.
  • The “OVM” field in the SharePoint application’s Drop Box is now optional for SharePoint providers because this value is ignored by ISDS.
  • Behavior of SharePoint providers for outgoing messages without attachments has been changed – the messages are no longer ignored by the provider and an error message is displayed in SharePoint when attempting to send them.
  • Improved error reporting by SharePoint providers in case of missing fields in the SharePoint application – the error message now contains the name of the missing field.
  • The obsolete “PnP Sites Core” library has been replaced by the modern “PnP Framework” library in SharePoint Online provider.
  • Unsupported “Delivery Info Template” setting has been removed from Email provider’s configuration for downloading received messages.
  • An issue in Email provider has been fixed where the generation of email messages failed if the sender’s address was not filled in the “From” setting.
  • An issue in the Web Service provider has been eliminated where the provider was incorrectly sending information to the web service that an error occurred when sending a data message.
  • Descriptions of Web Service provider’s configuration settings have been modified to match the conventions used in other providers.
