OpenText, a global leader among enterprise information management (EIM) solution vendors, presented its new platform release 16 at the beginning of April. OpenText release 16 is a unique digital platform that enables management and analyzing of all enterprise information content and processes. It consists of two main product components: OpenText Suite 16 and OpenText Cloud 16.

The new release comes with a number of innovations and improvements:

Possibility of on-premise or cloud implementation – transformation of digital processes within the entire organization is now simpler regardless of the place where the commercial data is stored – whether on-premise, in a data center, within a public cloud, or in a hybrid infrastructure.

Business network establishment (OpenText Business Network) – OpenText Business Network digitizes the business processes and optimizes information flows across the ecosystem of business partners (suppliers, customers, financial institutions, etc.) and thus allows the organizations to focus on their main business goals.

Mobility – mobile solutions substantially change the methods how people communicate and work with information. OpenText Suite 16 comes with an improved version of AppWorks solution which enables working with enterprise content and processes anywhere and at any time thanks to HTML5 and REST API web technologies.
