IXTENT has established a business partnership with the Swiss company unblu inc., which offers an eponymous solution for online interactive communication and information co-sharing between visitors and website operators. IXTENT thus becomes the first implementation partner and supplier of this solution for the Czech and Slovak Republics.
“The web is an increasingly important sales tool. We find, however, that this channel lacks personal engagement, which is often a critical factor for a successful sale. If a customer doesn’t find what they’re looking for quickly, and no option for personal contact is present, they will leave the website. For this reason, online customer service has become a major trend, allowing companies to assist (potential) customers easily and in real time, and to convincingly provide them with information that they are interested in,” said Roman Knapp, IXTENT Director of Sales.
The unblu solution brings the benefits of personal communication to the internet. In addition to online text, audio and video communications, it also enables co-browsing of web pages and documents. The visitor and the web operator can therefore co-view web pages or documents, and browse through or edit them together.
“Companies and organisations utilising unblu on their websites can communicate with potential or existing customers in real time, navigate them through web searches, provide them with additional information about the products or services on offer, and even take orders or conclude contracts on the spot,” said Knapp. Website visitors can use the form of communication that suits them the best, for free and from anywhere in the world with internet access.
“IXTENT’s goal is to provide its customers with services and solutions aimed at managing information stored in documents, processes, digital media, social networks, web portals, and enterprise systems. The unblu solution is, therefore, an excellent complement to our existing product portfolio,” added Knapp on the new business partnership.
