On June 15, 2022, support for the Internet Explorer 11 desktop app ended and will no longer be supported in certain versions of Windows 10.

Customers are advised to switch to Microsoft Edge, which provides support for both legacy and modern websites and applications. Organizations whose websites and applications are based on legacy Internet Explorer will need to configure websites to open in Internet Explorer (IE) mode in Microsoft Edge.

Internet Explorer mode in Microsoft Edge enables backward compatibility and will be supported until at least 2029. Microsoft will also give users one year’s notice before ending support for IE mode.
