ITENT is supplying an electronic archive to the AEGON insurance company

Prague, January 17, 2008 – The consulting company IXTENT®, a  specialist in ECM (Enterprise Content Management) solutions in Central and Eastern Europe, is supplying an electronic archive of documents for AEGON Pojišťovna, a.s.

The AEGON group belongs among the largest companies in the world in the areas of life and pension insurance and is also a significant provider of investment products. AEGON Pojišťovna, a.s. has been active on the Czech market since 2005. AEGON is constantly striving to improve the quality and speed of customer services. Currently, it is acceding to another level of the management of a substantial amount of documents with the use of digitalization and intelligent data mining technologies. The company IXTENT s.r.o., a  specialist in Enterprise Content Management solutions, which has been tested with an entire range of successful implementations of Document Management solutions in insurance companies and other financial institutions, has been invited to cooperate in this area. IXTENT builds its solutions on the core product of the Open Text corporation, the Livelink ECM Content Lifecycle Management and the Kofax Ascent Capture application for OCR/ICR solutions, which corresponds to the required management of hundreds of thousands of documents annually. OCR/ICR Intelligent data recognition services will be used for scanned documents, and documents processed this way will be transferred to the Content Management system for their management, circulation, and archivation. This is a  top quality DMS platform that makes it possible to manage documents and information in many ways, search for the necessary skills, classify skills with the use of meta-data, or, for example, define a workflow. The digitalized documents will be securely stored in an archive, where they will be accessible for further processing from company headquarters as well as from remote branches.
