An interview with Sue Reynolds, Regional Marketing Director, Northern Europe
How do you rate this year’s Innovation Tour in London?
It was excellent! The Innovation Tour events are a great chance for our customers and partners to get together with us, so that they can hear the latest and greatest from OpenText, share what they’ve learned with each other, and, importantly, so we can hear from them. The London event was well attended, so we’re pleased that a good number of people got to see the excellent content on show.
Which of the lectures did catch the most?
The morning keynotes obviously saw the biggest audience. Mark Barrenechea, our CEO and CTO, along with our EVP Engineering, Muhi Majzoub, and our VP of Cloud Services, Savinay Berry all shared key updates from OpenText. Otherwise, the breakout sessions that saw the most interest covered ECM, Ecosystem, and Process, though we did have a lot of people interested in the GDPR, also!
What was the distribution of the participants?
Most of the attendees were customers, with a smaller group of partners. We also had a handful of media join the event.
What other projects are you preparing right now? Enterprise world?
OpenText Enfuse was the next big focus after Innovation Tour, but following that, yes, Enterprise World 2018 is the big focus.
What is the benefit of this event to the participants?
The Innovation Tour lets OpenText customers and partners hear from our executives and learn about our vision and roadmap for the coming years. There are also a range of breakout and customer-led sessions which focus in more detail on different solution areas, verticals, and use cases, and share information and best practises that help organisations get the most out of their OpenText products.
What would you like to tell the readers/customers of IXTENT/OpenText in the Czech and Slovak Republic?
If you have the chance to make it to an OpenText Innovation Tour in the future, you should definitely join!
Thank you for the interview.
